Distribution of Financial Aid to Persons with Disabilities – Minister for Local Government Arshad Ayub Khan as Chief Guest

Khanpur (Shahd Akhtar Awan): In line with the public agenda of Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ali Amin Gandapur, a prestigious ceremony was held in Tehsil Khanpur under the auspices of the Social Welfare Department. During the event, financial aid in the form of checks worth PKR 10,000 each was distributed among 36 persons with disabilities. The chief guest of the ceremony was Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Minister for Local Government, Arshad Ayub Khan.

Addressing the ceremony, Arshad Ayub Khan stated that, under the directives of Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur, concrete measures are being taken for the welfare of persons with disabilities. He emphasized that disabled individuals are an important part of society and that the government is committed to providing them with all possible support to make them self-reliant. Observing the challenges faced by persons with disabilities, he announced that an office would soon be established in Khanpur to facilitate their registration, eliminating the need to travel to Haripur.

On this occasion, District Officer of the Social Welfare Department, Sana Iqbal, and local dignitaries also addressed the gathering, appreciating the government’s ongoing welfare initiatives. Beneficiaries and their families expressed their gratitude to the government and urged an increase in financial aid along with the introduction of special schemes for persons with disabilities.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, the chief guest, Arshad Ayub Khan, distributed checks among deserving individuals and assured them of the government’s full support.
