On the instructions of DPO Haripur Farhan Khan, Haripur Police is taking action against those who harass, blackmail and torture women.
Yesterday, Mismat (S) Bibi filed a complaint with Sarai Saleh Police Station that accused Akash Khan is harassing, kidnapping and blackmailing the plaintiff and threatening her with serious consequences. On which a case has been registered against the accused under sections 452, 506, 387, 365, 511, 358 PPC 4/5 of the Ghag Act.
SHO Sarai Saleh Police Station Siddique Shah, along with a contingent of police, arrested accused Akash son of Arshad Khan, resident of Rewaiya, Abbottabad, through a lady constable. Further investigation is underway in the case.
