Shaheen Afridi hits PSL milestone.
Shaheen Afridi has made history in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) as only the third bowler to claim 100 wickets. The Lahore Qalandars’ captain reached this milestone during the 23rd match of PSL 9 against Islamabad United at the Pindi Cricket Stadium in Rawalpindi.
Wahab Riaz holds the record as the first bowler to reach 100 wickets in PSL history, boasting an impressive total of 113 wickets. Following closely behind is Hasan Ali with 107 wickets, achieving the feat by dismissing Islamabad United’s Alex Hales during a recent match in Karachi.
In addition to Afridi’s achievement, other notable bowlers in the league include Islamabad United’s captain Shadab Khan with 87 wickets and his teammate Faheem Ashraf with 73 wickets.
