Punjab Government Imposes Section 144 Ahead of PTI Rally

The Punjab government has called in Rangers and imposed Section 144 in Lahore, Rawalpindi, Attock, and Sargodha ahead of PTI’s rally in Islamabad.

A notice has been issued saying that political gatherings, sit-ins, rallies, or protests are not allowed in these cities.

According to the notice, Section 144 will be in place in Lahore until October 8, and in Rawalpindi, Attock, and Sargodha until October 6.

The notice mentions that gatherings could be easy targets for terrorists.
