Muhammad Yousaf resign from the POST

The announcement of Muhammad Yousaf’s resignation from the position of Pakistan team. Selector also explained the reason.

Pakistan Cricket Team Selection Committee Member Muhammad Yousaf has resigned from the Pakistan Cricket Team Selection Committee.Muhammad Yusaf announced his resignation on micro-blogging website X and said that he was resigning from the selection committee of the Pakistan cricket team due to personal reasons.

He said that it was a great honor for him to serve this wonderful team and he feels proud that he has played his role in the growth and success of Pakistan Cricket. And I would like to express my best wishes for the success of the Pakistan team. I am On the other hand, attempts were made to contact Muhammad Yusaf directly but he was not available.

According to sources, Muhammad Yusuf had some issues with the coaches of the Pakistan team due to which he was separated from the selection committee. These issues took place in the meetings regarding selection and central contracts which turned into a serious situation.

According to the sources, Muhammad Yousaf has just resigned from the position of selector. Muhammad Yousaf’s relationship with Chairman Mohsin Naqvi and PCB has not changed and very soon Muhammad Yousaf will be given a new post.

Confirmation by Pakistan Cricket Board:

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has confirmed that former cricketer Muhammad Yousaf has resigned as a member of the selection committee. 

According to the PCB spokesperson, Muhammad Yousaf has given personal reasons as the reason for his resignation.

Muhammad Yusuf’s resignation has come at a time when the Pakistan cricket team is facing various challenges and there is a week left before the start of the series against England.

It should be noted that Muhammad Yusuf is one of the most successful batsmen of Pakistan who scored 7530 Test runs and 9720 ODI runs in his career from 1998 to 2010.

He holds the distinction of scoring the most runs in Test cricket in a calendar year (2006) with 1788 runs.
