Pakistans IMF Agreement Nears Approval Amid Support from Allies
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif announced that Pakistan’s agreement with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) is nearing final approval, as the country has met all tough conditions set by the IMF. He expressed gratitude to China, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE for their support during this process. The IMF executive board is expected to meet soon to approve the loan.
Shehbaz emphasized the government’s commitment to overcoming economic challenges, stating that indicators are gradually improving due to hard work.

Additionally, Shehbaz congratulated Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan for his powerful speech at the UN General Assembly, which focused on the Palestinian crisis. The Prime Minister noted the strong, brotherly ties between Pakistan and Turkey, mentioning that Erdogan plans to visit Pakistan soon.
