An important meeting of the Senate Standing Committee on Education was held today to address the long-standing issues faced by thousands of law students of Bahauddin Zakariya University (BZU). The session was chaired by senior legal expert and Senator Kamran Murtaza. Other notable participants included Senator Fauzia, representatives from the Higher Education Commission (HEC), BZU administration, and student representative Rao Jawad Khalil.
The committee thoroughly reviewed the legal and academic challenges faced by the students and emphasized that all matters must be resolved within the legal framework

For students whose issues remain pending between the Pakistan Bar Council, HEC, and the university, the committee recommended special relief
