Ronaldo’s 50th goal seals Al Nassr’s 2nd place.
In a match against Al Ahli, Cristiano Ronaldo scored his 50th goal for Al Nassr, helping them end a four-game winless streak with a 1-0 victory, as reported by Goal. The goal secured Al Nassr’s second place in the Saudi Pro League, also known as Roshn Saudi League (RSL). Ronaldo almost scored earlier in the 42nd minute, but VAR ruled him offside by a small margin. The match featured star players like Roberto Firmino, Frank Kessie, and Riyadh Mahrez from Al Ahli, while Ronaldo led Al Nassr.
Both teams played cautiously in the first half, but the intensity increased in the second. Ronaldo’s goal in the final 10 minutes narrowed the gap with league leaders Al Hilal to nine points. He celebrated the win on Instagram and will now join Portugal for international matches against Sweden and Slovenia. Afterward, Ronaldo will return to Riyadh for a match against Al Tai on March 30.
